Description
This multi-branching project was created in Articulate Rise 360 to help Texas voters with their voter registration.
Objective
Create a user-friendly guide to assist Texas voters while they verify, register, or update their voter registration.
The Process
In an attempt to streamline and simplify the voter registration process, I organized the state's eligibility requirements, voting resources, and how-to steps in a quick, interactive, user friendly guide.
I began by researching how to register to vote in Texas. Then I created a concept map to map each of the voter registration paths, and outlined the steps needed for each path. Once I created the concept map, I developed a rough storyboard of the eLearning and began developing.
While this was not a contracted or paid product, I used agile design methods. After the first and second sprints of development, I reflected upon my product. I identified what went well, what went wrong, and what could be improved. For example: Branching scenarios 2 and 3 must be connected if voters found their registration needed to be updated with a new mailing address in scenario 2.
The Result
A multi-branching eLearning module tailored to the needs of Texas voters.
