Team Builder Presentation

Description

This presentation was created in Google Slides and used as an introduction to a larger team building exercise aimed to underscore the importance of collaboration and diversity.

Objective

Create a presentation that demonstrates diverse skillsets lead to an increase in success and creativity.

The Process

First I began the design process by developing an outline of the presentation with the following components: hook, introduction, visual, close.

To hook participants, I asked a community building question, "What is your go-to coffee order?

To introduce the topic, I summarized the history of coffee, and asked participants, "How many people does it take to make your cup of coffee?" (Hint: it's more than one person!)

I then spliced and embedded the TED-Ed video into the slidedeck, and asked participants, "Who is responsible for uniting us with our beloved beverage?" (More than you think!)

I closed the presentation by asking participants, "What is a cup of coffee worth?"

The Result

A quick, effective, and thought provoking introduction to a larger team building exercise aimed to underscore the importance of collaboration and diversity.
